We welcome to be recruiting an Experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team and to overlook our existing, successful inhouse employment department. It is essential that the ideal candidate has 1-4 years PQE and is experienced in all aspects of Employment Law matters. In particular must have experience in unfair dismissal claims, automatic unfair dismissal claims, constructive dismissal claims, discrimination at work claims, redundancy claims and settlement agreements.

We also welcome Immigration Caseworkers accredited by OISC at Level 1-3 and offer an attractive profit sharing (negotiable) and will ensure the prospective candidate joining our firm will have substantive facilities and support to provide the best advice for our clients.

We have offices in both East and Central London, this role would be based in our East London Office. It is essential that the ideal candidate has 1-4 years PQE and is experienced in all aspects of Employment Law matters.

It is adventitious if you are available immediately, but this is not an essential requirement.

This role is not remote and would be a full-time position from Monday to Friday.

Essential Requirements

  • Must be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 1 to 4 years of post-qualification legal experience in a similar position, either in-house or at a law firm
  • Must have a great attitude to work and the ability to work efficiently
  • Must be commercially aware and business target led
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and critical analysis skills
  • Must have the organisational skills to manage a busy caseload
  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate
  • Must have the ability to advise on Employment Law matters including wider workplace issues such as pensions and business immigration
  • Must have experience in court proceedings and employment tribunals
  • Must show a proven track record of acting for both claimant and respondent in Employment Law matters
  • Must have experience in acting both for businesses and individuals

Adam Bernard Solicitors are looking to recruit a Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 1-3 years prior experience in all aspects of conveyancing. We are looking to expand our Conveyancing Department and build upon the existing client base and caseload within our Conveyancing department.

The successful candidate will be an all-round Licensed Conveyancer. You will be expected to handle and manage all Conveyancing matters whilst supervising caseworkers in the department. You must have a solid and up to date knowledge of the relevant law.

The Licensed Conveyancer will be expected to have experience in the following areas:

  • Residential conveyancing
  • Commercial conveyancing

Candidates must also have a keen interest in generating new business by building local networks. There will be an opportunity to be involved in the firm’s marketing and business development plan for the department.

We are an established law firm with offices based in Central & East London, recruiting for the positions of Immigration Law Solicitor / Accreditation LSC,OISC at Level 2-3

The solicitor must have 2+ years PQE and prior experience level or the applicant must hold level 1-3 OISC registration. Your responsibilities will involve preparing appeal bundles and preparing visa applications within the Immigration Rules for Corporate and Private clients. Conducting client consultations and advising on Immigration Law, Human Rights Law, British Nationality Law and EU Appendix laws, Skilled Worker, Innovator, Startup, sole representative. The preparation and submission of client applications to specific deadlines. All applications under Points Based System. Sponsor license applications. Spouse/Partner Visa Applications. Indefinite Leave to Remain Application. Nationality and Citizenship Application. You must be confident and be able to work independently liaising with clients and other third parties to obtain correct documentation and information, liaising closely with the Home Office & Tribunal. Due to the nature of the role, the applicant will need experience in making visa applications both inside the UK and outside the UK for fiancée, spouse and same-sex UK visas. Experience in commercial aspects of immigration preferred, including experience quoting fees, building key networks and providing high-quality client experience by telephone.

The candidate must be organised, reliable and punctual. We require a candidate who has the ability to commute to our Central & East London office daily, unfortunately, remote working will not be possible for this vacancy. Our both offices are within walking distance of stations.
